Miami Roughs

Following my CRISIS (!!) I have gone back to the old way I was working with changing my illustrations into shapes and block colours to create a link between the postcards. Despite my doubts with this approach I feel like I should at least attempt to create it on illustrator.
I created a series of roughs to help make sense of the composition of the postcard in my head, although roughing is very important in order to create the most effective and best composition considering depth and position, I found that its hard to imagine the finished piece when the roughs are just in pencil where as the final image will look completely different and very smooth and refined when created on illustrator.
