I really like the way Lindsay Mcminn uses pencils and mark making in her work. She doesn't overuse colour which really adds to the simplistic yet effectiveness of her illustrations. I really want to create a similar style in my own pieces, exploring the idea of using pencils with different strengths and tone in order to provoke different emotions with different tones of voices to them.
