I have started to experiment with colours and textures in my work and have started to think about what style I would like my book to have, I have been exploring other illustrators work and looking at zines and a handmade aesthetic.
I have been really enjoying exploring the many different possibilities that the book can have. I particularly like my experiments where you can see the texture of the pen or pencil and see how the marks and colours work together. I'm intrigued to see how these marks change and work when scanned into the computer, I'm looking forward to experimenting with photoshop colours and working my traditional approach with a more digital media.
